K-Food advancing overseas
Efforts to help farmers and fishermen and related companies contracted in the aftermath of COVOD-19. Special live broadcasting for Korean Food across China
On May 16th, Dongbang Home Shopping, the No. 1 home shopping in China,
Held 'Korean food special live broadcasting' for about 3 hours.

In order to overcome the difficulties of domestic exporters, currently unable to promote offline, this broadcast, promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and aT, made up of so-called “K-immune food” aimed at Chinese consumers with high health concerns with COVID-19. In addition, it promoted products tailored to targets such as red ginseng for the elderly with weak immunity and citron fennel tea for tired office workers and provided Korean food's efficacy and recipe videos to improve Chinese consumers' understanding of Korean food.
“Ugly agricultural products”are also on export
Non-standard agricultural products that have been discarded or
Sold at a lower price because they have not met the quality standards,
So-called ugly agricultural products, are on the way of steadfast export.
In order to support the export of non-standard agricultural products, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and aT signed a multilateral memorandum of understanding (MOU) with 11 companies including producers' representative export companies, processing and overseas franchise companies. Through this MOU, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs supports smooth business operations such as policy planning and coordination of interests among participating organizations, and aT plays the role of business division and management for each participating company, and support for export business, of which cooperation model is expected to be established. In addition, it is expected that the development of processed products of four items such as paprika, strawberry, grape, and mushroom will accelerate.
