Namul Culture That Nourishes People and Thinks of Nature
The Taste of HANSIK

Korean dining tables are healthy because of its culture of preferring vegetarian diets. Our people, who have been consuming a vegetable-based diet for a long time, have created a unique food culture called namul that no one can imitate. Namul, which grows on land all year round, is frequently served on our table for its fresh taste, refreshing scent, and lovely colors. Also, it has been responsible for keeping our people healthy.
Meat consumption is increasing due to the influence of westernization in recent years, but Korean food has been attracting attention again because of its long history, variety, and superiority to other diets in terms of health benefits. It has to draw the attention of many people to sustain our namul culture, which consists of healthy Korean food made with vegetables grown on land.
This month’s issue of <A Good Day to Read about Korean Food>, which welcomes the new spring of 2022, will introduce the story of Korean food set with namul, and a delicious and abundant table that is perfect for spring.
