<Support for academic study of Hansik(Korean food)> has taken its first step in 2020. The present project has been initiated from the recognition that the role of studies based on Hansik areas is important for establishment of efficient Hansik policies as well as development of growth engine for Hansik and Hansik industry.

Support from study to books publication, academic conferences

<Support for academic study of Hansik> does not stop at support of study tasks. Along with ‘Study tasks support’ for study of pending issues related to Hansik areas, ‘Support of books publication’ concerning succession and development of traditions of Hansik and Hansik culture, and ‘Support of academic conferences’ based on the themes directly related to pending issues in Hansik areas or Hansik are also implemented.

Through these efforts, not only development of practical study themes and activation of the studies capable of responding to the pending issues per each area but also diversification of the types of study results are expected. In addition, foundations for the cultivation of specialized study group(Think tank) to create new knowledge in the Hansik areas could be constructed.

2020 contest for <support of academic study of Hansik> has been closed on April 17. Let’s wait for the results concerning what the tasks to expand the base of Hansik study and to prepare the groundwork for development of the production sources of practical knowledge and study theories will be.
