Saeujeon(Pan fried shrimp)
Ingredients & amounts (to serve 4 people)
Saeujeon
12 shrimps (300 grams, 250 grams after trimming), 2 eggs, a little salt, a little white pepper powder, ½ cups flour, an adequate amount of cooking oil
Soy Source
2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 tablespoon water, 1/2 teaspoon ground pine nuts
To prepare
1. Wash the shrimp clean without peeling the skin, and remove the head,
and peel it leaving only one little bite size on the tail
2. Remove the gut on the back with skewer,
and cut three or four times to prevent it from bending when cooked.
Or, make a shallow slit on the belly or back of a shrimp and spread it out in one sheet.
3. Add the rest of the seasoning in soy sauce to make soy sauce mixed with vinegar.
4. Beat the eggs finely.
To cook
1. Sprinkle the salt and white pepper on the shrimp,
and coat flour on the entire body thinly while taking care to prevent the tail from being coated.
2. Hold the tail of the shrimp, dip it in the beaten egg, and oil the heated pan and cook it.
3. Serve with soy sauce.
