Korean Food Teacher Education Completion Ceremony
Education for Korean food teachers and instructors promoting Korean food culture
Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korean Food Promotion Institute provided Korean food teachers and instructors training for workers in the field for a total of 52 hours from July 18 to September 19. This education, which was performed to improve the quality and ability of Korean food teachers and instructors, was successfully completed by all 20 trainees.
The curriculum consisted of theory, practice, and field trips. In detail, not only the basic teaching method, but also the 2020 food dining trend, Korean food and food hygiene, and fine dining Korean food menus well received by trainees. In particular, the satisfaction of the trainees was high for providing an opportunity for trainees to adapt to the new environment with programs that prepared for the post-corona era such as online teaching. It was also an opportunity to form a network between excellent Korean food teachers and instructors.
In this rapidly changing era, let's look forward to the future activities of Korean food teachers and instructors who have improved their qualities and abilities through education.

Discovers customized tableware products for
the improvement of the dining culture
Customized tableware products and idea contest screening result announcement
Various efforts are being made to improve the dining culture. Recently, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Korea Food Promotion Institute held a "customized tableware and ideas contest for improving the dining culture" to practice and settle down 'eating food by taking some out' and 'sanitary spoon management'.
As a result, ideas and products were selected from 92 entries of contest by ideas, table for one serving, personal side dishes, spoon related goods, serving spoons, and tongs. Excellent products selected through this contest will be expanded to safety restaurants along with exhibitions and promotions. In addition, excellent idea products will be commercialized through R&D support in 2021.
