According to <Dongguk Yeoji Seungram>, Songi is the best mushrooms growing from trees. Songi with not only fragrant but also nutrients is very precious because only nature can cultivate it. Songi, which grows on the roots of pine trees, likes soil in which granite is weathered and requires proper sunlight, rain, and temperature. Perhaps because of this, the Songi in Yangyang, Gangwon-do, where red pine forests are developed in granite soil, is famous for its good taste and aroma.
