Hansik Restaurants Expand Across the World! Foreigners' Experiences on Visiting Korean Restaurants With the recent rise in Hansik's international status, it has become easier to find Korean restaurants in major foreign countries and cities such as New York, Paris, and Tokyo. According to the '2023 Overseas Korean Food Consumer Survey' conducted by the Korean Food Promotion Institute targeting 9,000 foreign consumers, it was revealed that the percentage of foreigners visiting Korean restaurants for daily meals increased by 2.8%p com- pared to the previous year, reaching 49%.
