Sokcho doromuk·yangmiri festival, one of the representative local festivals, which has been continued its tradition for 11 years. The festival, which lasted until last year, provided an opportunity to taste a variety of dishes related to dorumuk of which plain taste is the best. There offered various kinds of dishes such as briquettes grilled dorumuk, dorumukjjigae(spicy sailfin sandfish stew), braised and steamed dorumuk to add the pleasure.
However, the festival, which has been held at the Sokcho Port every year, was canceled to Covid-19, which won't end this year. It would have been nice to eat winter delicacies while watching the sea these days when it is getting cold. Even such a small pleasure became difficult.
Despite of this, the fact that the dorumuk is now in the season won't change. Even if you can't visit the festival, how about trying to feel the winter delicacy at home by ordering it.
- Time held: Every winter
