Honghaptang(Mussel soup)
Ingredients & amounts (to serve 4 people)
Mussel 500g, 6 cups of water(1.5L), 2 green chilly pepper, 1 red chilly pepper, ginger juice 1 tea spoon, Cheongju 1 table spoon, a bit of salt
To prepare
1. Remove the debris attached in the cover of mussel and wash with cold water and drain it.
2. Slice the pepper diagonally to remove the seeds
To cook
1. Put mussel on the pot and pour water then add ginger juice, cheongju and salt and boil them over high heat.
2. When the mussel is opened, add the red chilly pepper and green chilly pepper and turn off the heat.
TIP
It is good if you put short-necked clam, clam, jaecheop, octopus, webfoot octopus instead of mussel to boil it without any seasoning.
