Korean food video competition for foreigners was held
K-wave expanding around the world, interest in Korean food at home and abroad is also rising recently. Accordingly, Korean Food Promotion institute will host '#Play Korean Food’ Korean food video competition in order to share with people around the world how people from various languages cook Korean food in their daily lives, eat and enjoy Korean food together.
Any foreigners who have personal SNS channel(Youtube or Instagram) at home and oversea can participate in this competition. The competition divisions are classified into 2 categories in total which include the cooking video with the theme of Kimchi and the Mukbang video with the theme of Korean food. The application period is from November 30th to December 6th, and the total prize money is USD 37,000, and USD 5,000 awarded to Kimchi-themed dishes and USD 3,000 to the Korean food theme Mukbang.
